A software update (Revision D) was released on Friday, October 6, 2017 which addressed three items:
- Pre-population of BMIS log-in username and password based to enable easier connectivity of tool to BMIS for reporting of test record data;
- Fixed “HW Error” message software bug; and
- Added Test Code to the Check-In app for PDI process compliance.
How to install the software update?
- Make sure your controller is connected to a Wi-Fi network with Internet access
- Mate your tester and controller pod together
- Dock the unit in the charging station, plugged into power overnight
The software should automatically download and install overnight. You can verify if the installation was complete by opening the Messages app and you should see a success (or error) message.
You can also manually force the update by going to the Settings > Info menu and pressing the update button in the lower right corner.
Tool screen stuck on message.
BMIS login is needed to continue. Cloud symbol don’t exist and pressing back arrow only asks for Location, US or Canada, pressed US, goes back to the same screen. we’re probably locked after the latest update from 10/06/2017
